August 2000, CRWC forms as a 501c3. 

Inspired by then Supervisor Dave Potter, CRWC was envisioned as a collaborative leader to ensure the many organizations working on the Carmel River rowed together to make progress. This backbone of collaboration is still going strong today as we fight more water demand and greater climate crises.
